Alpha Tau Omega is proud to host Casino Night. The event began eight years ago and has since become the largest Greek Philanthropy event at The Ohio State University. Proceeds from the event benefit the Tressel Family Fund for Cancer Prevention Research at The James Cancer Research Hospital. Casino Night 2011 featured 950 guests and created a donation of $25,000 to cancer prevention research.
We invite you to join us in continuing our success with the event. On March 9th, 2012 the Ohio Union's Archie Griffin Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a Vegas style casino with over 35 blackjack tables, 10 poker tables, craps, roulette, wheel of fortune, and new this year, a horse race! Join former OSU football coach Jim Tressel in a fun of evening of fake gambling for a great cause!
Guests arrive at the event and will receive a set amount of casino chips. At the conclusion of the event, the casino chips are traded for raffle tickets which can be used to win prizes such as a week in Hilton Head, a basketball signed by OSU's Men's Basketball team, and over $4000 in various gift certificates.
